just to update and to warn ya...Davey J. Kinley of the San Antonio area has never shipped parts or refunded my money. hundreds of dollars lost by trusting this "land rover dude". going on 5 months

yea i feel foolish but in my defense i have had thousands of parts and money transactions with rover or spitfire folks via the internet and this is the only time i've been screwed

i've some rover folks in that area that i've done business with. they know his boss. the told him about Davey. Davey told his boss that he refunded my money, but that's bullshit he hasn't. this kid seems to have no problem lying.

let me give ya the whole story...

in october i see a post FB for a set of coils for an LR3 for sale. this was on https://www.facebook.com/groups/1621225684825324/ or https://www.facebook.com/groups/953826468027899/ i asked the guy if they were regular height or lifted. he says regular but i also have a set of 2" spacers. i ask him if he'll take $600 and i'll pay shipping. he says yes and $70 should cover the shipping. i paypal $670 "friend" option to save him the fees. a couple days go by i hear nothing. i call him and he tells me shipping was $140 but that he would cover the other $70. i think thats odd cause i've shipped lt77s and lt230s to the east coast and it cost about $150. well a few more days go by and i call him again and asked for a tracking number. he tells me that the package came back to him as undeliverable. i think what the fuck, i email you my address, you couldn't copy it correctly but i say nothing. he says he'll ship again and that was the last we spoke. he doesn't answer my text, emails or calls. he blocked me on FB so i can't see his post or tag him in my warnings to other land rover people. an internet land rover friend in san antonio asked him and he got cursed and told to mind his own business. the friend told his boss at the land rover shop and his boss asked davey and davey told his boss that he refunded me my money but he didn.t

at one point in november i suggested maybe you refund me half now ant the other half after the holidays cuase i didn't want to ruin his kids' christmas by putting their dad in a financial hard spot but he never replied

Have a lawyer friend draft a letter.

Contact local authority.. there are new laws surrounding internet transactions..

Seems like a lot of hoops for the money lost... principal at this point
