Thanks guys. I'll write up some backstory when I have more time. The short is that I bought this truck in South Africa when I finished my Peace Corps service in Zambia in 2016. Two college friends from the States flew out and we spent 8 months driving Southern and East Africa on a shoestring - wild camping, eating tinned lentils and nshima, not showering etc... We traveled about 60,000 km across 9 countries and it was one of great travel experiences of my life so far. The plan was to sell the Land Rover for plane tickets home but we became so attached to the truck that we kept it.
Edit: This was my first Land Rover and where it all started for me.
