I'll be sure to put it where I put all of those other things "for safe keeping", that I never can find again.

Jumping on this thread with my own issue: I'm trying to install the same switch in my S3, and mine has a wiper park feature (luxury!) that isn't listed on the wiring diagram. I also don't know if the new RN switch has the park mode built in. I blew a couple of fuses trying to find it the "easy" way. The pin listing posted earlier on this thread was priceless, thanks.
My reason for wanting to install the new switch is because the washer motor pin on the back of the old switch is broken off. I'd like to have a washer option, but I think "park" is also good.
My options: install the new switch for the washer and not have self parking blades, or try and fix the old switch to get both.
Anyone ever tried fixing a busted pin?---------------------------------------------------

Yes. You can solder a piece of wire to it and then put a connector on the end of the wire. If you know which wire is the park wire to the motor try connecting it to key on power. I’m thinking that is how it works. The motor continues to have power after the switch is turned off and then when in the park position internal contacts open and the wipers are off.

Mark,
I will try to rescue the old switch and keep the new one incase I botch it. I'll have to drill out some tiny rivets, but that shouldn't be too hard.
The park feature works great on the S3, so if I can get park and wash, boy that's a good day. The new switch doesn't have the park mode.---------------------------------------------------

Typically the SIII wiper switch itself has no 'park' function with the power for the wipers to park supplied directly to the wiper motor plug. Attached is the SIII single speed wiper wiring diagram showing the green 'fused, ignition on power' from the fuse box going to terminal #2 on the switch (39) and then from the same #2 terminal to the #4 spot on the wiper motor plug (46).
The cam operated switch inside the wiper motor gearbox breaks the power circuit when the wipers are switched off and the wipers reach the park position.
The attached '69 TR6 two speed wiper wiring diagram shows a similar circuit with the green power wire being supplied directly to the wiper motor.

Bob,
Thanks for this. I have the image on the left, but don't fully understand how it works. I'll study the one on the right and see what I can learn.

See rejeep has the green and blue wire too. What is this wire for, park feature?
seem to have a Lucas 2 speed switch with push in for washer. The green and blue wire runs out of the wire bundle and to plug cavity 3 on the wiper motor.
Blew all my spare fuses before thinking to remove the wire from the switch and see if that makes the motor go.1 PhotoErik

EDIT:
thanks Gene! Had a question and google-fu led to below-
Link to 2 speed Lucas switch….
looks like new switch needed, no continuity between any of the pins in above positions.
