  • 1961 Series 2 88" new project

    My new project.....I still work on rovers every day at a dealer but I needed something with less wires to work on! I'll try to keep this updated as things progress. first order of buinness is get the engine running!

      Nice acquisition. It looks relatively unmolested and marine blue patina is one of the best.

        Thank you and i agree faded blue is very nice.....and ill change my first order of business, tossing that plow mount, lol.

              You'll have to let us know when you drive it to work - if your LR Dealers' customers even realize that's the same marque.

                    Getting an old motor working is easy. Fuel, air and spark, it's the new ones that require all the sensors, code reading and computers to get them running.

                    Looks like a great project!

                              Definitely looks better! My 61 109" had a plow setup on the front at one point as well.
