  • Speedometer cable

I put the original speedo cable back in the truck yesterday up thru its cable mount on the side of the bell housing , up the firewall in the engine bay and thru the hole behind the dash panel. There is about 2' of excess cable and I don't remember it being that long. I'm guessing it just needs to be re-routed but I need some pointers as to just how it should be routed
    Thanks
    Steve

Keep it as far away from the exhaust as you can!

Roger that.... Make that first "U-turn" in the engine bay as long and as wide as you can....
