  • Abnormally warm weather

It was in the mid 70s here yesterday so I took the Rover for a drive to meet a gun club buddy for dinner. It was one exit on the PA turnpike and the old truck was running fine. Photo was on the exit ramp on the way home.Click image for larger version

The cold is coming, it snowed again last night after several hail storms.

Living dangerously, you’ve been over 70 mph in a Series more times than any one with a will to live.

I had earplugs in and thought that I was staying right at 70 just running with traffic. I didn't notice the top speed until I slowed for the offramp.

Seems like you've got it running very fine to hit those speeds consistently!

We hit a record 82deg here on Wed. Thurs was 77 and amazing. Then back in the 40's today. My MG seems to be progressing slowly. I've debated on starting a thread on it (to maybe boost my motivation), but not being Rover related, haven't done it. So ready to be back working on a Rover.

The impressive part is you did it in 34.1 miles! Most Rovers are 0-60 same day.

I have seen 73 in mine going downhill, but it ends as soon as the road levels out. The fastest I've had it was on the trailer coming from the PO's house.

Its warm down here in the south. All the flowers have bloomed already. I've been driving the crap out of the 109. Just took the radiator muff off this morning.

But now the pollen is out. My dark blue D5 is yellow right now. That is one nice thing about the 109, its tan so you can't really tell when its dirty.
