Yes sir,
I went by the shop and spoke to the owner and he assured me that he magnafluxed every square inch of the block and head. So I feel pretty good about it.
We shall see.
So Which clutch setup do I purchase? 9" or 9.5? My thoughts were to stay with the 9" I am going to go with the original flywheel and flywheel housing. I am going to replace the flywheel ring.
Your Thoughts?

When I replaced my engine, I kept the 9 inch setup. I figured it worked fine for 12 years, why introduce new problems.Visit my store to get your Rover T-Shirts!

9.5 is what I'd do assuming I was in there anyway.-Matt

As always thank you guys.
On another note, I received the replacement block back, I'll get it cleaned up and painted over the weekend.
I think the head will be completed today, if so I'll pick it up and put the shop in the rearview mirror.
I now have 2 cranks & 3 cams all have been polished and in great condition.
I'm going to use the original crank & cam, I'll double check all the measurement's on all the parts received back from the shop.
Thx
Scott

So I completed the the painting of the replacement block. But for some reason the color didn't cure.
The process used is shown below:
Block 1, (cracked Block) was painted without primer, only the color and it really seems to have adhered really good. Block 2, (replacement block) I did use primer first has poor adhesion.
I cleaned both blocks to the metal. Block 1 thoroughly cleaned the engine, painted outside color only (VHT paint) 2 coats 15 minutes between coats 80 degrees weather, 30 days ago.
Block 2, thoroughly cleaned the engine, painted with VHT primer, 15 minutes between coats 2 coats 80 degree weather. Allowed to dry over night 24 hours.
Day 2 painted with color VHT, 2 coats 80 degree weather allowed 15 minutes between coats 24 hour drying time. Paint color scratches with my fingernail. It seems gummy.
I have sense removed the primer and color from block 2..
Any input would be much appreciated.
Thank you
