Went and looked at this 1967 S2A 109 pickup ute on Sunday. I so badly want it, but the wife prevailed(NO MORE ROVERS!) and I share with you all. It is up on Facebook Marketplace. Owner needs the space and the money is going to a good cause. Car is complete and ran this summer. The starter spins but doesn't catch currently. He is asking $4,000 but you get the car, new tires, a fresh bulkhead, the pans under the seat, two clean fenders, clean sets of doors and windows, 2 radiators, 5 extra wheels, spare engine, spare transmission, manual, box of spare parts and a plow rig setup (no plow blade). Everything is present in the cabin - heater, windshield wipers, turn signal stalk, seats. Custom crew cab with single porthole on one side. Aftermarket large gas tank is located under the bed. The stakebed back is competently and throughly welded to the chassis. I found the chassis to be a 6/10 condition. I think it could be cleaned up and patched, however it does need fresh outriggers. We measured the center of each wheel hub and got 130" so it felt a little long, but I have an '88 and can't speak to the dimensions of a 109. Rick is a nice guy selling a rover. No commerce spambot AI. I am passing it forward because I think it is an amazing deal and would rather one of you bought it then some random on Facebook. I drove 2.5 hours to check this truck out and had a damned good time. And I am not a robot and no robot was used in the construction of my '59 S2. However, I do need some help transferring some family funds in Nigeria to a small bank in Yorktown, Virginia....... John

A 130" wheelbase def makes this no longer a 109. However, Rover didn't start building the 127/130 until the mid 80's. SVO built the first ones by modifying 110 chassis. Nothing to stop individuals from doing the same with a 109.
Extended cab Rover pickups are rare, and custom built.

John, I can help with transferring funds as I have recently won the Publishers Clearing House Drawing and don't need all of it for the new car warranty on my 1960 109.
