How about a nice blue one? Both tabs are perfect.

I found two different socket assemblies. I’ll send them with the dash panel. There are some extra parts with the one socket. Hopefully you can make something work.

I can not recall ever seeing this part even from years back when we used to go to all the bigger Rover rally's.
I checked the IIa parts catalogs here and don't see any reference to this part listed
When did this part first show up? was it a factory or dealer part?
With the way things roll around the parcel tray I would think things would go missing behind this panel and would be difficult to retrieve but it might be a good spot for an aux switch or 2.

Our '68 SIIA has this. It now covers a couple of fuse boxes and the heated screen relays.

It was on late IIa trucks and slips under the top of the instrument panel. It protects the defroster hoses.

I need to get crackin on my truck before you run out of parts.
if my '69 should have that cover, it's missing.

I've never seen that panel either...
But all my trucks have been 67 or earlier.

But what I'm more curious about it what parts Mark doesn't have!?

Interesting thanks for all the posts regarding this
Still curious as to why this part does not seem to show up in any of the parts manuals I have
