The Rover Owners Of Virginia Mid Atlantic Rally (MAR) sold out registrations in under 3 days. It was an amazing response. The second most amazing thing is that we have 20 Series trucks registered - the second largest category of trucks - just edging out Discovery 2's and falling short of Classic Defenders.

We are trying to squeeze in a few more spots and may open up additional tickets for sale in a few weeks. If anyone was thinking about coming - keep an eye on www.roav.org

I'm in and excited as I've never been to Pearl's Pond. Maybe if I start fixing stuff now I can sleep a little the week beore!

Damn. Another year I won't get to this. I grew up down the road from this event. But I didn't get into land Rovers until I moved away. Years ago I had planned to take my dad to it who still lives there. Now he's nearing hospice. Sigh.

I have been totaling up the registration numbers and have discovered that we have 33 Series Rovers registered. This is the largest number of Series trucks we have ever had a single event.
