  • 2nd Annual Vermont Rover Club Weenie Roast May 12 to 14

The 2nd Annual Vermont Rover Club Weenie Roast will be held Friday May 12th thru Sunday May 14th. You are welcome to come stay the whole weekend or come on Saturday for the main event. Feel free to bring whatever food and beverage you would like to share. The premium weenies will be provided. For those that want to attend for the whole weekend and don’t want to camp, there is the beautiful Grafton Inn down the hill and for provisions there’s the excellent Mkt Grafton also nearby. Don’t forget the parts swap/sale. Bring your extra Land Rover parts for the Saturday “Rover Jumble”. T-shirts are being made and will be available for preorder shortly. If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to drop a line. The event is free to all but donations accepted to cover expenses. The property has a few gnarly trails but there are other trails and class four roads in the area. The Weenie Roast will take place on Route 35 in Grafton, Vermont. More info to follow.

please let me know if you are planning to attend so we can get a approximate head count. Also if you are interested in pre ordering a t-shirt I can help with that. Any questions please let me know

thank you and hope to see you there

I plan to attend. If possible a t-shirt would be great but if to short notice I understand . Regrettably my Bugeye will not be complete for this event. I was pushing hard to maybe have this be its inaugural voyage. I am still hopeful for the 75th Jubilee event in NY for June. I might be able to bring another British car otherwise I would be limited to either a German or Japanese product. Cheers. Tom

New-to-me 16' wheels and BFG ATs 265/75-16, a Forbyn 10 spline axle and a True Trac from Bill Davis all going onto the old girl today.

Next fix U-bolts and replace oil-leaking POS fuel pump and I'll be ready for the Weenie Roast.

Just a couple photos I took. I’d estimate about 50 rovers were there.

We had a count of 82 trucks at one time in the field. Some had left some had not arrived at that point. I figured there was probably about 90 Rovers that were able to make it this past weekend. Thank you for everyone who was able to make it.
