  • 200tdi Injector Pump

Recently my 200tdi injector pump started leaking quite a bit. Looking to source a new/used one or someone that can rebuild the one I have. Any Help would be appreciated.

Where is it leaking at? I've had one apart and as long as you keep things clean it's doable in the home garage. Otherwise I have dealt with Diamond Diesel. It's a kinda circuitus blog but; https://poppageno.blogspot.com/2017/...mp-200tdi.html

Yes, you need to figure out where it's leaking from. This could be something you can resolve easily without removing the pump. If it isn't, I've had experience with a local shop (Denver) that was not particularly good, although once provided with Land Rover specs they were able to resolve the issue after I had the pump on and off 3x.

Pump rebuilds are expensive, and most US based shops don't know Land Rover and this can lead to problems. Blue Ridge Diesel in VA is well regarded and qualified, but you might also check UK sources.

The good news for you is that on a 200tdi you can remove and reinstall the pump in about half an hour without disturbing the timing belt.

Blue Ridge Diesel Service in Virginia would be my first choice of where to send it. Elton is on this forum and has been there many years. He also has two diesel powered Rovers.

Thanks for the advice. I'll check out Blue Ridge Diesel. Not sure where the leak is but...this is what it looks like from under the car. https://photos.app.goo.gl/GsMjYo74UZda2JNdA

That looks like a loose fitting, Have you tried tightening those allen bolts the drips are coming from? You can find the injection pump manuals at; https://www.series2club.co.uk/new_fo...ic,7884.0.html
